Linus Thern (Sweden)

<1> What were your first impressions when you actually ran the car?
Actually, I was already driving the EP version in my country. The Half-8 is great fun isn't it? With the 09, the best of real racing performance is added. There is no doubt that buggy fans will be excited by the combination of the quick steering feel and power.

<2> How does it compare to the 1/8 Inferno?
I'm surprised at how close the handling is to the 1/8 Inferno, despite the big difference in size. I was amazed at the subtle control. It is no exaggeration to say that it has the same build quality as the 1/8.

<3> What did you find interesting about the mechanics?
Its like seeing a smaller version of the familiar Inferno MP777. Its like a miracle. This is true from the chassis design and structure to the components. You can't help staring at it.

<4> What did you think about the SIRIO engine?
Typically great SIRIO engine. It punches out the power and response needed in a racing engine, even a small one. Adjustment is easy so what more can I say?

<5> How do you think the 09 will be received in your country?
Buggies are very popular in Sweden. Its common to get more than a 100 spectators to a race. There is no question that this machine will be a hit in Sweden. Its just a shame that we have a long Winter so the time for outdoor fun is limited. I'll try and adapt the tires to suit indoor driving.
