Daniel Reckward (Germany)

<1> What were your first impressions when you actually ran the car?
Totally awseome! A huge amount of fun!
I was amazed by the size and performance and that sweet sound that only high performance engine buggies put out. Such speed and control, I was blown away.

<2> How does it compare to the 1/8 Inferno?
After getting used to running on this layout, I estimate the laptimes are only about 5 to 10 seconds slower than the 1/8. It has that much performance potential, but with the control of the 1/8.

<3> What did you find interesting about the mechanics?
I also drive on-road racing cars as well as 1/10 and 1/8 categories, and I can say that this chassis is very complete. If you ask me what impresses me specifically, I can only say all of it.

<4> What did you think about the SIRIO engine?
It fits the profile of a true racing engine with slide carb, rear exhaust, but it's also so easy to use. I was amazed at how easy the needle setting is. It so easy to start and with such great performance, I'm sure this engine class is only going to develop further.

<5> How do you think the 09 will be received in your country?
Kyosho is the number one model company in Germany. People are always wondering what product Kyosho will produce next. This machine will appeal to many, but I would really like intermediate to advanced drivers to have a go at this one. I would also have no hesitation in recommending it to beginners as well. I also think it will be quite popular as a gift at Christmas.
