Long queues started snaking from the entrance well before opening time and the excitement created by the KYOSHO FAIR was covered extensively across all media from newspaper, radio and television. We would like to express our appreciation to the many people who participated and made the event such a success.
Until now, the concept of creating space for adults to enjoy a hobby had only been brought to Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya. This was the first time for such an event in Osaka. Held at the Kintetsu Abeno Department store, the KYOSHO FAIR was planned with Toyota Motor Corporation as one of the attractions at the Kintetsu Motor Show 2008. The event space was themed Kyosho Hobby Garage and included three separate areas: R/C models; diecast models, and factory-direct sales that presented a fascinating introduction to Kyosho's hobby world.
In addition to the existing product range, KYOSHO FAIR-exclusive diecast Mini-Cars generated intense interested from many discerning collectors. We suggest you get in early for these rare models at the next event to avoid disappointment. Of course a collection of the best Mini-Car brands available were available as well. Amongst the R/C models, the recently released 2.4GHz MINI-Z was the focus of much interest. The specially created MINI-Z race track provided people with the opportunity to test drive a MINI-Z and was the center of fun and action throughout the event. More experienced drivers were able to challenge the Kyosho Works Team and win great prizes.
The awesome power of KYOSHO's engine powered cars also featured in an impressive display, particularly for those people who hadn't seen such sophisticated machines before. By introducing so many people to the best quality and design in R/C, we believe this will create positive experiences for those people to become involved in the R/C hobby.
The sales corner at this event included a Mini-Car Lotto. For the cost of 500 Yen, everyone who entered won a prize. Winners, especially when major prizes were won, were supported by loud cheering which shook the house. The huge success of the KYOSHO FAIR held for the first time in OSAKA could be coming to your city next. Don't miss out!
