Kyosho motor sports and innovation
proves a raging success!
General Open Day : 18th (Sat) and 19th (Sun) October 2008
The main hobby event in the Fall of each year was held again at Makuhari Messe. Renamed the ‘All Japan Model Hobby Show’, this year’s event featured even more attractions and big new announcements than last year. Of course KYOSHO had plenty to show with major new releases and exciting demonstrations.

This year KYOSHO involved their expert technical staff specializing in each product to provide face to face explanations, with the actual product developers on standby to answer any questions. With the detailed explanations, visitors were provided with a more technical understanding of the sophisticated products on display.

KYOSHO MOTOR SPORTS
The “KYOSHO MOTOR SPORTS” display introduced the wider community to the competitive side of R/C car racing. This provided great exposure to the many racing fans that had come to inspect SUPER GT star driver Ryu Michigami's racing suit and helmet that were on display.
KYOSHO also had a great display of factory racing models from major international races that intrigued the racing fans as well. Having listened to many valuable suggestions, KYOSHO also gained excellent insights into where to focus product development for the future.
MINI-Z area was hot with the new products and user creativity.

The announcement of the new “Formula D” lineup was a huge hit with visitors to the MINI-Z corner. Masterful workmanship of these officially licensed reproductions proved immensely popular. But the loudest cheers were received at the drift driving demonstration area. Sophisticated accessories like the MINI-Z Real Action Light System also impressed many with flashing lights and even lighted exhaust tips. Install this on your favorite car and dazzle everyone with your ride. As usual the new model display for the MINI-Z provided a seemingly never ending list of attractions. The display of the stunning original body art created by MINI-Z fans was admired by all.
Rock Force blazes into the spotlight!
The new production version of the Rock Force 2.2 blasted onto center stage. So much attention kept the product developer busy for the entire day. A fully customized version with 7-channel, 6-servo and ESC also on display proved a surprise for visitors to the show.
New models for the MINIUM series and Scale series!

The focus of the Sea and Sky category was definitely the MINIUM and the MINIUM AD. Huge interest was shown in the entire lineup and we were happy to answer questions all day long. The demo flight of the MINIUM AD Caliber 120 left everyone stunned until the very last day with its amazing performance from a helicopter of that size. The incredibly detailed finish of the new ducted fan fighter jets F-22 Raptor, F-2 and F-16 simply blew the crowd away. GP and EP versions of the HIEN and RYAN STA also joined the scale aircraft lineup. With the growing popularity of EP airplanes, the timing for these releases was just perfect! KYOSHO provides the best of both electric and engine power for you to choose your preferred flight style.
Die Cast Cars and dNaNo shop!
Amongst the many new die cast car creations announced at the show, the NISSAN models were particularly popular. Generous cooperation from Nissan Motor Corporation has resulted in comprehensively detailed recreations and the inherent value and demand for NISSAN models drew plenty of collectors. The dNaNo Shop staff were run off their feet all day as people came straight from the demonstration area to purchase these high-tech masterpieces. Feedback was greatly appreciated and we look forward to reflecting these ideas in future product development.
